Falling Leaves

Believe it or not, this sea of leaves was once our driveway. Last week Adam went outside to part the sea with the leaf blower. Okay, parting the sea is a little dramatic, but hey, it's my blog. Kenly loved watching the leaves dance as they made their way to their new home. She ran through the leaves, tossed rocks into the leaves, and frolicked in the huge pile her Daddy made for her.

Her eyes twinkled and she squealed with delight. She loved every second. In fact, she arched her back and cried when I told her we had to go upstairs to get dinner ready. What we see as back-breaking drudgery, Kenly sees as a never ending playground. It's nice to see the world through her eyes and to take a few minutes to play in the leaves with our princess. Leaf removal has never been more fun.

I know this picture is blurry, but I love the motion captured in the picture. She was running through the sea of leaves.
Leaves and a rock--Who could ask for more?
