Grandad's Orchard

Kenly was feeling a bit under the weather while cutting teeth, so we took her to Grandad's Orchard to help her get her mind off her teething issue. She really enjoyed exploring all of the orchard.

Adam and Kenly had fun feeding a llama. Kenly's had a thing for llamas every since we checked out Llama Llama Mad at Mama from the library.

I think the llama at Grandad's hates me, so I stick to feeding the goats.
Kenly got a chance to sit on a huge pumpkin, and it made me think about the time we took her to the orchard when Uncle Travis and Aunt Carrie were up for a visit.
They've added a few dinosaurs to the mix, and it looks slightly strange to see a T-rex devouring a scarecrow in the background.

Kenly enjoyed eating a slice of Honeycrisp Apple. We took home another 1/2 peck of Honeycrisps because they'll all be gone soon. Sniff. Sniff.

Doesn't it look like she's running in fear from the Triceratops?
She declared that this pumpkin was too big to take home, so we settled for two head of cabbage instead.
And we left before the goats got a bit too rambunctious for our liking.

I LOVE the pic of her on the big pumpkin and the fact that we both LOVE the same type of apples! Wish we lived close enough to enjoy eating them together too!
